Course Aim:

The aim of our Lockout Tagout Safety Awareness Training Course is that personnel undertaking service or maintenance work on industrial equipment understand the importance of energy control and know how to apply energy isolation and Lockout Tagout in a practical manner.

Training Overview

The release of hazardous energy is known to result in workplace injuries and even fatalities. To protect workers from such incidents, lockout tagout training and procedures are required to create awareness on the isolation of hazardous energy sources to machinery and equipment. Our Lockout/ Tagout Safety Awareness training programmed covers the various types of active and stored energy sources and the controls necessary to protect personnel conducting service or maintenance work on industrial equipment.

Administration Details

Duration: 2 hours.

Completion Requirements: Participants will be required to undertake a written quiz with a pass mark of 75%. Should a participant encounter challenge to meet these Learning Outcomes, we will provide additional coaching as an opportunity to meet those requirements.

Refresher Training & Certification Validity Period: No expiration date is indicated on this certificate. Refresher training is recommended at intervals not greater than 3 years.
